Rotonda Teatro is a theater ensemble based in Berlin. It was founded in 2009 by Maria del Mar Taulés, María Ruiz-Larrea and Raquel Rives. The three have different educational and artistic experiences but have found in humor a common language. They have used this language to create children and adult shows, which have been shown in festivals around the world.
Starting from daily situations, their theater pieces become stories with tragicomic hints, capable of bringing the audience into different emotions. Different techniques are used: clown, physical theatre, puppets, object theater and life music.
Rotonda Teatro works with and counts on artists such us Marc Teitler, Álex Vaquero, Thomas Herfort, Piero Partigianoni and Laura Corcuera.

CUARTETO PARA PIANO. CONCIERTO EN CLOWN MAYOR

The show is based on an everyday situation, a leak in the roof. Mixing reality and fiction, poetry and humor, the characters (three clowns and a composer) find that with every solution they try to impose several more leaks appear as the situation rapidly descends into utter chaos and mayhem. A dangerous world governed by the musical whims of a tormented composof composer, where anything can happen: from torrential rain, floods, suicide attempts to gambling, skirmishes and murder…

La Vie en Rose is a tribute to women who understood that we don’t need to suffer for beauty. And for those who didn’t, also.

A show full of humor, sweetness and a bit of malice.
